Kevin Carr, MBA
Kevin is passionate about leading leaders and ministering to ministers in church, nonprofit, and business settings so the organizations they serve can thrive and achieve lasting results. His primary strengths lie in the areas of strategic planning, optimizing systems and structures, change management, team building, and leadership development.
For nearly two decades, Kevin has served in a wide variety of pastoral leadership and operational roles at churches on the west side of Indianapolis. He has experienced nearly every facet of the job of a church leader: teaching, preaching, curriculum development, creative planning, personal discipleship, team building, volunteer management, leadership development, new-member assimilation, pastoral care, community outreach, marketing and communications, ministry operations, and establishing and maintaining corporate vision as a member of a staff leadership team. In addition to his experience in the church, he has considerable experience in the nonprofit marketplace in marketing and consulting roles.
Kevin graduated from Cincinnati Christian University with a BS in Christian Ministry and an MA in New Testament Studies. He also earned an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Johnson University where he is an Affiliate Professor in the Master of Strategic Ministry program.
Kevin serves on the Board of Directors at Sheltering Wings, a Hendricks County nonprofit organization that helps victims of domestic abuse achieve stable and independent lives. Previously, he served on the Executive Committee for the 2018 North American Christian Convention and as the chair of the Avon Community School Corporation’s Parent Partnership Committee.
Along with his wife and son, Kevin lives in Avon, Indiana. When he’s not on-the-clock, you’ll find him working on projects around the house, rooting for his favorite teams, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee while listening to a podcast, reading a book, or watching a documentary.
